2009 four disc (three CDs + NTSC/Region 0 DVD) box set that documents some of the main influences studied and absorbed by the revolutionary Folk/Rock singer/songwriter. The three CDs represents Dylan's personal journey through Blues, Country and Folk music and feature some of the most famous artists of all time, including tracks by Johnny Cash, Leadbelly, Hank Williams, Woody Guthrie, Elvis Presley and Muddy Waters. The accompanying DVD, Talkin' Dylan, features interviews with Dylan fans and aficionados including Joe Boyd, Michael Gray, Sid Griffin and Mike Marqusee. A truly original artist, Bob Dylan has influenced generations of musicians, but this set takes a look back at the artists that inspired the man himself. Proper.
